Sri Rama Betta

Date: 20-Oct-13

Sri Rama Betta is a scenic hill located in the Ramanagara district on the way to Mysore. Situated around 55–60 km from Bangalore, it makes for a perfect short getaway from the city.

We reached Sri Rama Betta at around 10:30 AM and drove all the way to the base of the hill. From there, we had to climb approximately 300 well-constructed steps to reach the top. Since we were not in a hurry and had plenty of time, we climbed at a relaxed pace, stopping occasionally to take photographs and enjoy the surroundings.

The climb was pleasant and manageable, thanks to the neatly built steps. As we gained elevation, the views gradually became more impressive, making the short trek enjoyable and rewarding.

At the summit, there is a temple along with a peaceful spot where visitors can sit and relax. The panoramic views from the top were stunning and made the climb completely worthwhile. We spent some time soaking in the scenery, enjoying the calm atmosphere, and taking in the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

As the day progressed, the weather started getting warmer. Around 12:30 PM, we decided to begin our return journey and headed back to Bangalore via the Uttarahalli route.

Although it was a short trip, Sri Rama Betta offered beautiful views, a pleasant climb, and a refreshing break from the city’s busy routine.
