Nandi Hills
Date: 1-Sep-13
Nandi Hills is our most loved travel destination and it is one of the most famous one day trip destinations from Bangalore. Because, this is the first place Thilak and I visited together. Our journey began on September 1st, 2013.
Thilak wanted to go to Nandi Hills by bike. He wanted to enjoy the early morning breeze. But, I insisted on going by car. After around two weeks of argument, finally, he agreed and we went there by car. We started at around 5.30 AM and reached the destination at around 7:00 AM. I was hoping to see the foggy hills, but as we were nearing the hill, I lost that hope. It was not foggy that day, but as we started climbing the hill, we could see clouds floating everywhere. We felt as if we were walking over the clouds with the sight of clouds everywhere. Enjoying the beauty for some time we had breakfast at the KSTDC hotel and after breakfast, we spent time in the park till evening. We also visited Nehru Nilaya, Gandhi House, Tippu Summer palace, etc. Around 4.30 PM, we started from there and reached Bangalore at 6.30 PM.
